- Choose a calm, comfortable environment where your child can settle quietly — ideally at bedtime.
- Keep the listening experience calm and positive. Avoid using the session as a consequence or under pressure, as this is most helpful when approached with warmth and no expectation.
- Headphones are optional. The session works equally well through a speaker placed nearby.
- You may wish to stay with your child as they listen, particularly the first time.
- Do not play this session while travelling in a vehicle, cycling, or in any situation where your child needs to remain alert.
